It is truly my honor to serve those wishing to open their hearts, voices, and abilities to help themselves, their families, and communities. There is a huge evolution towards greater peace taking place, and we need all the pure spirits to rise up and lead the way.

In addition to being a licensed professional counselor, board certified music therapist, and holistic healer, I am also a pianist since age 4 1/2, and a singer & songwriter. My journey with my voice, songs, and self-expression has been — and continues to be — the greatest, most fascinating, most confounding & humbling, and expanding experiences of my life. It continues to uniquely inform my organic voicework methodology and the way I help others. I also consider myself a spiritual channel and generally have special gifts around sound, voice, music, and words. If you are here, perhaps you do too!

In sessions together, I help you access and express hidden inner voices, reverse negative self-talk, safely work through suppressed emotions, illuminate unacknowledged aspects of you & your desires, and embody empowered, authentic self-expression that will move every facet of your life forward for the better.

My Professional Background: For nearly 20 years, I worked in psychiatric hospitals, mental health centers, and addiction recovery programs with society’s most emotionally troubled, marginalized, and interesting individuals, utilizing music & artistic self-expression in and as therapy. I’ve also worked with a plethora of children in their homes, schools, after-school programs, and performing arts camps teaching on the transformational & creative use of sound, voice, music & words.

About Voicwork:In 2021, I “received” a healing modality I came to call therapeutic voicework. I’m not the only one to use this term, and I don’t own the use of voice in therapy — but my approach is uniquely my own. In it, I guide individuals to connect with their voice inside their body for multi-dimensional healing and empowerment. I realized quickly that the experience also tends to illuminate thoughts, feelings, sensations, wounds, and desires in the client, both for themselves, and for me, the facilitator. I could “feel” what was going on inside the clients body better when they inhabited it with conscious sound first (which I guide you to do in session together).

This practice first developed into private transformational coaching with women who wanted to speak up more fully in their lives. It then expanded to include coaches, healers, practitioners, and performers who wished to share their own unique voice and work with the world with greater confidence and freedom. And now, I offer the same coaching with voiceowrk and also incorporate it into clinical therapy to address more psychotherapeutic goals clients may hav (i.e., healing developmental trauma, attachment wounds, co-dependency, disordered eating, etc.).

Because it is part of my unique gift to inspire and open others’ self-expression, you will experience this dimension no matter how you work with me — wether we do a therapy or coaching session, or you purchase a bespoke transformation song. The mass of education I’ve undertaken and the tools I’ve honed simply help take you deeper, further, and grander — more quickly — and with more individualized support and care from me.
